The Oxfordshire Roadshow “Make Money from Climate Change” comes to Faringdon on 18^th August.  This free event aims to stimulate new business ideas and revenues in traditional companies by sharing real-life examples.

The Federation of Small Businesses has launched a £1,500 cash prize competition to find the best idea from existing companies in tackling climate change, and this roadshow is a great way for business owners to be inspired.

Speakers include Oxfordshire large business, Amey, three case studies of local business owners who have made changes to help with climate change, climate change consultancy Ems2, and an expert panel including Envirowise and Business Link’s environmental representative.

Frank Pavy, a local Faringdon businessman and Chamber member who specialises in environmental accreditation, is the MC for the evening.  Case studies of inspirational businesses include the Phone Co-op who will be joined by others to share their experience of greening their products to offer customers a climate-friendly choice.
